Who is David Vallet?
Since 1994, David Vallet has been playing and singing for audiences of every kind: holiday-club guests, cruise passengers, Parisian night owls, hotel and restaurant diners, wedding parties and company teams.
Based in Normandy, near Caen, he is a solo act in the truest sense: piano, vocals and crowd interaction, all from the same piano stool.
His speciality? Turning listeners into participants. A request here, a chorus there, a brave guest at the microphone… and the evening builds itself, together with the room.

Background music or full-on party: the evening sets the tempo.
Piano Show
The piano-bar spirit, turned up a notch: songs requested from the floor, choruses sung together, guests invited to the mic. You start a song, and the whole room finishes it.
Karaoke Live
Guests choose a song and David accompanies them live at the piano. No backing tracks, no pressure: all it takes is a song in your head and a little courage.
Weddings, private parties & corporate events
From the welcome drinks to the last dance, and from the quiet cocktail hour to the end-of-year party where accounting sings along with the board. Tie optional.

Hotel pianist, cruise ship entertainer… or both
A solo entertainer who reads the room: discreet background music at aperitif time, then a full sing-along once the guests are ready. David is available for hotels, resorts, cruise lines and international engagements.
Experience on land and at sea
Club Med, the cruise ship Mermoz, Viking Line, La Mère Poulard at Mont-Saint-Michel and Pavillon Augustine in Trouville-sur-Mer. Same piano, very different audiences.
Long engagements
Twelve years at La Mère Poulard, and a residency at Pavillon Augustine that has now lasted about ten years. Repeat guests, every season, and he still finds new songs to surprise them.
A self-contained solo act
Piano, vocals and, if needed, his own compact sound system and ambient lighting (as a guide, for rooms of around 200 to 300 guests, depending on the venue).
A repertoire for international guests
French and English, plus a few Italian and Spanish favourites. David speaks conversational English and performs over 200 songs in English.

Holiday clubs, ships, Parisian nights and the Mont-Saint-Michel: every stage has taught David to feel a room and to bring the energy up at just the right moment.

Where is David based?
In Normandy, France, near Caen. He performs throughout France and is available for engagements abroad, on land or at sea, depending on dates.
Does David speak English?
David speaks conversational English and performs over 200 songs in English. For detailed arrangements, e-mail works perfectly.
How does booking work?
Send the dates, the venue and the type of engagement: one evening, a season, a residency or a cruise contract. David replies with his availability and a tailored quote.
Does he bring his own equipment?
Yes: a compact sound system and ambient lighting, suitable as a guide for around 200 to 300 guests. For larger venues or full stage lighting, a professional sound and lighting technician is recommended.
